At the recommendation of local medical researchers and health professionals, and in concert with the governor’s recent mandate requiring people to wear masks in large gatherings indoors, Bishop Daly is now requiring everyone to wear a mask if you are present in the church for Mass, beginning this weekend and until further notice. Every parishioner needs to plan accordingly: bring your own mask to church, and if you do not have a mask, you need to find a way to obtain one because the parish cannot guarantee that masks will be available in the gathering space for people who forget to bring their own. Anyone who comes to church for Mass and does not have a mask cannot be let in and will be encouraged to tune in to the Mass in their vehicles and receive Holy Communion after the end of Mass. If you have any further questions, concerns, or complaints, please contact the Bishop’s office.
Thank you for your patience and your charity in this matter, and God bless you all!
